John Mullahy MP Delivers Faster Elective Surgery at the Blackburn Surgical Centre
The Allan Labor Government has delivered a new public surgical centre in Blackburn, now open and operating. The Blackburn Surgical Centre provides elective surgery for around 5,700 Victorians each year.
The centre was built to help reduce elective surgery waiting lists that grew during the COVID-19 pandemic, giving patients faster access to the procedures they need without the long wait times associated with major hospitals.
This facility is a direct investment in the health of people across the Glen Waverley District, ensuring that local residents can access quality surgical care closer to home.
